据《西雅图时报》报道，附近一座立交桥上的更多示威者欢呼支持封锁，封锁于下午 1 点 15分左右开始。州交通部门在社交媒体平台X上表示，某一地点的交通拥堵超过6英里，该机构要求司机使用替代路线。
示威者高呼“自由，自由的巴勒斯坦”和“嘿嘿，嗬嗬，占领必须结束”。
西雅图警方于下午 3 点 40 分在社交媒体上发布消息。警察下达了驱散令，但抗议者对收到任何此类命令提出异议。
据《泰晤士报》报道，包括冰雹在内的暴风雨天气席卷了该地区，抗议者在下午 4 点 45 分左右离开了高速公路。
